Fallen Cedar

Picture
A dreamy black and white photo of a pond with many trees surrounding it. A cedar tree skeleton is at a 45-degree angle over the surface of the water and reflected in the water. The winter trees are all leafless.
The cedar fell many years ago and has remained in this position since the first time I saw it, probably 15 years ago. Its skeleton serves as a platform for sliders and other kinds of turtles to warm up in the sun. Birds perch here sometimes, of course. This photo was taken with a Nikon F3 HP using a Nikon 25-50mm lens and a Komura Telemore95 II lens extender and f/4, 1/60 that created the soft, dreamy focus. I had Ilford HP5 Plus 400 film in the camera.
